Bushtracks African Safaris Brochure January 2016

If your new year's resolutions have anything to do with unplugging and living in the moment, our latest brochure offers plenty of inspiration for doing just that.

I was born and raised in Africa and can tell you with confidence it's a rare place where you can unplug and slide into ancient geographies. Most of us live in a fast, digitally-driven ecosystem, buffered by instant demands, engulfed by concrete habitats.

Africa is the antithesis. It's a place with expansive natural landscapes and slow ecosystems that have taken millions of years to form, and are perfectly in balance with their highly adaped and ingenious inhabitants such as leopards and antlions, giraffes and sticky geckos, painted dogs, and herds of big bad bovines with attitude.

Africa also has a slow, rhythmic lifestyle that has been around since early humans roamed the Serengeti. Here, as we say in Zimbabwe, time has no consequence. Unplug and immerse yourself in our laid-back landscapes.

  • Photograph slow-rocking, camel-like ungulates with big spots and eight-foot necks, and enjoy "Out of Africa" sundowners looking over the endless Mara plains.
  • Stay in an old school, private tented camp, and walk up to old bull elephants with our highly trained Zim pro-guides in Mana Pools -- a thrill you will always remember.
  • Or join a professional photographer in a subterranean hide and learn the tricks of an attention-grabbing wildlife shot.

There are so many places and real experiences we can offer on a personalized, custom safari. Contact one of our very experienced safari planners, and let us craft an unplugged, worry-free adventure that will leave you refreshed, relaxed, and revived.
